It is a common belief that spending one's time to work is more significant than spending time with their family. However, there is a more persuasive argument that dedicating their time to family is more significant. Both views will be discussed below as well as my personal opinion regarding this issue. On the one hand, spending time on working is significant because maintaining family's financial well being is very important. If people do not make a living, their family's happiness cannot be ensured. For instance, a recently released study conducted on the correlation between family's income and family troubles has shown that the less income a family earns, the more family discord occurs. (Sorry but I have a question. Which example is more natural? For instance, according to a recent survey conducted on people who suffer from family discord, a substantial number of respondents stated that their family's income is relatively low than average income.) This study offers strong proof that spending time for working is significant for maintaining family's happiness. Nevertheless, I support the idea that spending time with one's family is more important. Family time contributes more on individuals' and their family's happiness. This is because, family time is fun and relaxing but working is very stressful. For example, according to a recent survey conducted on worker, over 80 percent of the respondents stated that they enjoy spending time with their family much more than working at their company. Moreover, over 90 percent of the respondents indicated that they get stressed when they spend time for work. As the example illustrates, it is obvious that spending time on family time is much more important than spending time to work. To sum up, while it is apparent that spending time is significant for maintaining family's happiness, it is undeniable that spending time with one's family is much more important for all of the family member's happiness. |
