It is a common belief that children who determine decision themselves without any regulation would become individualistic adulthood that tends to consider only their happiness more value. However, there is a more persuasive argument that not only making the decision one’s self but also being aware of their decision’s consequences is the main priority to grow up children. On the one hand, if children only choose what they want, it could negatively affect in our society that living together. When the child was young, some parents taught them that all decision can choose without any feedback and regulations, this education is not able to lead their children to good ways. (?)This is because they cannot agree and accept other people’s opinions, so they might be trouble person in the future. For example, according to an investigation by one major kindergarten, some children usually generate fights and problems of relationship within peer groups, in general, about 70 percent of these children have had a distinct character that decide only what they want to do. However, it is considered more necessary in today's social communities that learning the influences when they decide their decisions their own decision is important. Since children with this ability are aware of the impact of their opinions, they are able to decide carefully their decisions, it can result in leading to a healthy society. A good example of this was a study by the Center for Society Development. They compared to between children who learned how to make their decision correct and who chose only they want to do. Regarding this issue, researchers have found that children who have been well aware of their decision’s influence had gained good reputation and had been credited for their career in the future. To sum up, if children decide their opinion themselves they would be unlikely to adapt to society easily, therefore it is undeniable that learning their decision’s consequence should be a more crucial priority. |
