In recent years, increased waste from home has been making various problems. Some environmentalists insist that even though all matters cannot be solved, recycling product might generate profits, but it has not been done by people.(?) For this reason, they conclude that governments should make laws to have people recycle more. This essay will discuss on the topic : why they require laws, what the solution is.
It is obvious that the amount of disposal of trash that should be recycled has increased. This waste strongly harms envionment, which is the main reason to the demand of the claimants.(?) In addition, dealing with this rubbish costs a lot. For example, in Korea, if the litter that could be recycled was not thrown away, the government can earn money 300 million dollars per year. It refers that cutting the vicioius circle off, the money spent on the waste can be used for the nation, or people, or envionment.
There are those who disagree with the idea of compelling compelling people to recycle by government. However, most of the disagreements are just based on their convenience. All would agree and know that recycling is tiresome, which is the main causes of not recycling. However, all might agree, too, it is not difficult, or demanding work. Everyone knows the necessity, but under unconsciousness people throw away the rubbish, not recyle. In this respect, imposing fine, to those who have not dealt with reusable products, (?)can be helpful. In case of Korea, even though the rate is still high, law has made people reuse or dispose products to be recyled.
In conclusion, there is no reason to disagree making people recycle. On the other hand, there are innumerable benefits by making people recyling. Even though it seems that impelling people to recycle by laws is cruel, however, the people who do well would not consider it matter.(?) Nevertheless, the most important thing governments should bear in mind is enlightening people’s sense on recyling. |
