Your Answer ▼People seem to hold different preferences on what types of
workforce they want to be in. While some people say that being a part of a
company makes it easier to enjoy the work, I prefer having my own business to working for
someone’s business.
Admittedly, there are some benefits of working as one of employees. As one is requires excellent leadership, interpersonal skills and ability
to handle crisis and to make better decisions to run his or her own business successfully,
not everyone is able to do it. Contrastively, being a worker for someone’s
business makes it easier for those who are not good at being a leader to be
involved in workforce. Having lighter responsibilities compared to the leaders of
company, some people would show better work outcomes and task achievements at work.
Thus, it is reasonable that people choose to work for employer rather than
having their own business.
Despite all the advantages above, I would like to be a boss
of my own company, thinking running own business contains more valuable
merits than being an just employee. As leaders are required a lot more knowledges, abilities and skills, I could experience and learn more stuff to be professional, which an employee could not. Moreover, having an
authority on business, I will be able to direct and lead a company with my
perspective and see what I have achieved, which one of employees cannot do. With these
reasons, my preference on this issue is running my own company rather than
being a part of a company.
In conclusion, even though working as an employee also has
some of the benefits, I would like to work for myself with more valuable things
that I could experience as a leader. |
