The table indicates
information about how many Australians travelled seven countries in the period
of 1999 and 2009. Also, the statistics include that how much the percentage of
tourists in Australia grew over the whole research terms. As clearly we can see
from the table, the significant feature is that, excepting England and USA, all
other countries experienced remarkable rise from 1999 to 2009.
Turning to the
detail, in the case of New Zealand, the most number of Australians went trip in
2009 (1,051,470 from 500,700 in 1999), with the rate of growth recording 110%.
However, the more attractive figure is that China revealed the highest growth
rate of 256 among seven countries, followed by Fiji, Japan, and Indonesia at
the proportion of 198, 170, and 152 respectively.
On the other hand, as
for the UK and America, they show the lowest growth rate compared to other five
countries. Firstly, the United States was at 300,000 in 1999, and then the
numbers increased to 420,000 in 2009, growing 40% throughout the research years.
Lastly, the UK went up from 400,000 in 1999 to 680,000 in 2009, illustrating
the second lowest country in the growth rate at the end of the research years. |
