It is clear from chart that almost Americans used radio from 1980 to 2000, while computer and smartphone use rose siginificantally after 2005. In 1990, radio were used for an average of 380 hours per month. By contrast, the figure of television was only about 50 hours per month. However, starting in 1995, radio use started to decline and other devices of technology become more significant used. In addition, computer use dramatic went up nearly 300 hours per month between 2000 to 2005. On the other hand, smartphone use showed the most signicant increase. Between 1995 to 2015, this figure increased dramatically frome 0 to 350 hours, becoming the second most used device of technology. |
