The bar graph
shows how the number of employee changed in different five fields in Canada
from 1999 to 2015.
By looking at the graph in more detail, it is noteworthy that manufacturing
was the most popular type of industry among Canadians during the entire
research period. These figures were reached about 2,200,000 and roughly
1,700,000,respectively. In addition, it is notable that the popularity of
construction doubled from approximately 700,000 to almost 1,400,000,which
was the second highest figure by 2015.
Moreover, although both finance and professional services experienced a
similar upward trend, all figures of both industries were less than
1,500,000,which is also noticeable results in this graph. In the case of
agriculture, the least number of Canadians wanted to enter the workforce as
farmer and the figures were less than 500,000 over the research period.
To sum up, there was no changes in two type of industries that had the
highest and lowest figures, and it is remarkable that all industries except
for manufacturing and agriculture saw had an upward trend in job preference
among Canadians.
