When it comes to grading a group project,
there is a growing debate over whether group members should be given the same
grade or they should be evaluated differently. Although it seems fair that all group
members get the same grade regardless of individual’s contribution, I strongly believe
each group member has have to be evaluated based on the level of contribution.
On
the one hand, there is an opinion that teamwork is important in a group
project, and thus, for making students to become cooperative have cooperation mind, the overall
result should be graded, not based on the contribution of each member. If a project is evaluated
on the overall result, group members can learn how to accomplish a goal as a group.
Nevertheless, for helping students to learn
how to prepare for the real world through the group project, grades should be
given depending upon their contribution. ability. In reality, people who do not do their allotment are considered irresponsible responsible for
what they do and they have done.
For example, in a sports team, the best player gets the highest
salary, and the rest get a differential rate of salary. '왜' 그렇게 하는 것이 필요한지에 대한 설명이 더 필요합니다. 사회에서 이런데 그룹프로젝트 성적을 매기는 방식에서도 그 방법을 적용하는 것이 이러이러해서 중요하다, 하는 식으로 명확한 근거를 보여줄 수 있는 흐름으로 보완해주세요.
In
conclusion, while it is apparent that giving the
group the same score for students work as a team with can lead to better team work, however, in order for students to prepare for the
reality and develop their responsibility better, it is necessary to score them differently according to individual
contribution and to develop responsibility. |
