Each table and chart illustrate how many people visit to Ashdown Museum during the each year before and after refurbishment of the museum and compare the survey results in how satisfied visitors were with their visit over the same two periods.
As is shown by the first table, it is clear that the number of visitors to the museum increased about 18,000, from 74,000 to 92,000, after the museum was renovated. According to the next two diagrams, there were considerable changes of visitors' satisfaction with the renewal of the museum. Only 15% of visitors responded that they were 'very satisfied' during the year before renewal, while some 40% and 10% of visitors surveyed said that they were 'dissatisfied' and 'very dissatisfied' respectively. The percentage of all kinds of satisfaction were less than those of dissatisfation in the same period. However, the museum was refurbished, the rates of visitors who were surveyd and said 'very satisfied' jumped by 35%, while those of visitiors who replied 'dissatisfied' decrease more than half. All forms of satisfaction and dissatisfaction had the ratio of about 4/1 after the improvements in the museum, in other words, a lot more people responded to the changes of the museum with the much satisfaction than before.
