Your Answer ▼ With the improvement of Internet service, some university students can take online courses. I believe online courses which are offered by universities have a lot of advantages than disadvantages.
To be specific, with regard to university student’s perspective, it is beneficial for them. Firstly, students can save time by taking online classes. They may do further study such as preview or review for the class instead of just killing time on the bus or subway. Additionally, since students select the place wherever they want to take lecture, they might feel comfortable. Secondly, thanks to the cutting-edge technology, studying online system can provide a range of programs not only simple lecture but also multi-communication part. This kind of systems enable students and professors to communicate directly. Comparing to the past primary online course which have some drawbacks such as having no communication, professor’s teaching method has been developed adjusting modernized online system. In these days, for example, streaming services is used in some universities in US, which makes possible to communicate with a professor and students doing like chatting.
In terms of universities’ benefit, they can save budget regarding employing professors or maintaining facilities. When it comes to giving a lecture about simple knowledge, all they need to do is just recording a lecture and uploading the one. Since this kind of lecture contents are hardly replaced by new one, it can be used quite a long time until some more information should be added. Online courses also make possible to cut the budget of maintaining classes because students will use less classes due to the online classes.
In conclusion, for these reasons, I firmly believe giving online lessons is advantageous to both universities and their students |
