Your Answer ▼ It is true that over population in major cities has
generated negative effects. This essay will explore the negative effects populous
cities trigger and the feasible actions to resolve this problem.
As more and more people tend to live in major cities, those cities
are creating various environmental destructions. With growing a number of cars,
air has been destroyed by gas emission and fume. Having a polluted air, people
in large cities are suffering from respiratory diseases. Water pollutions are
generated by massive amount of artificial chemical uses such as shampoo and
soap from each household. Lastly, due to excessive destructions in forest areas
to expand the habitable area, we experience the loss of animal habitats, which could
eventually lead to extinction of some endangered species.
With these reasons, the populations in large cities should
be split into smaller cities to make the balance of environmental conditions in
every part of the world. To encourage families to move to countryside, there
should be some benefits to those who move out of major cities. Continuous advertising
the merits of living in remote area on TV, the public awareness of rural area
life will be improved, having interests and curiosities. Government could offer
a few financial advantages to residents in small cities such as discounts on
utility bills and providing subsidies on purchasing houses or properties. These
efforts could make it easier for individuals to decide to move out from large
cities.
In
conclusion, with clear drawbacks of overpopulation in big cities above, we, as
a society, should seriously consider about this phenomenon, applying the
feasible solutions above to split populations into different cities with a
balance. |
