It is controversial whether students have to take all the financial
burdens for advanced studies such as university degrees because each student will
be beneficial most from their studies in the future. However, I do not agree
with this idea.
One the one hand, there is a clear reason why people claim that
each individual should be responsible for paying finance for education as we do
never know whether each student will contribute for society or not after their studies.
Supporting students with a huge amount of money for unsecured benefits for the
future accompanies many risks. It has been reported that with a certain degrees,
young generations of today tend to be involved in foreign companies rather working
in domestic or local companies. This is an excellent example of losing educated
students. Therefore, it is not reasonable for communities to support students
for their own education.
Nevertheless, I believe that there should be society funding to
each student as the most reason of being uneducated is financial problem. It is
true that to develop society, education is the most important foundation
and component To be able to see societies or
countries growing, there should be educational developments with inevitable sacrifices. Korea, for example, the economic and growths in every field began
with educated ones with the government supports. Even though the movement required a huge amount of money, it eventually resulted in the one of the most rapid
developed country in the World. Therefore, I think that society funding will
increase the number of educated and the educated members are the hope and base of
the society’s developments.
In conclusion, even though the contributions from graduated
students in society is unpredictable, education is must-have component for
community to develop, which means there should be financial funding from
society, so that a number of students will develop the society. |
