Compared with Western countries, children in Asian countries such as Korea and China are raised by more strict rules. They have to follow the rules which organised by their parenets. On the other hands, children in Western countries are more free from rules. It has been controversial whether the strick rules are imprtant to youngers or not.
The children who are in strick circumstance, are allowed to do something which is only in their rules not by themselves. Their parents might use harsh punishmenst if their children do something deviant behaviours from the rules. If this situation is going on, the children would become more and more dependent to rules. Without the rules, they would be very scaared and embarrased. It is possible that they forget how to make descision by themselves.
In the contrast, in some countries childeren are raised very freely. This free rasing method help to make children more independent from their parents. For example vast majority of them learn how to manage their money and time when they are young. It is considered very important for their future. However they can enter the wrong way at the result of the absence of intervene from parents. They are too young to know what is right and what is wrong.
In a nutshell, it is siginificant to let children do something by themselves not only for their freedome, but also for their independent future. However, when they make an important descision, parents have to intervene. Furthermore, if they do some wrong behavior, thy should be responsible about it. |
