It is true that the governments invest lots of money in the sports businesses and the amount of that is increasing significantly during several decades. This is because people's overall interest in sports is mounting and it brings about the positive national economic rise, as a consequence.
First of all, the reason why the investment of the government increases dramatically is that the public's overall interest in sports has gone up exponentially compared with several decades ago. Since the popularity of sports and athletes has jumped all over the world, the profitability of various national sports businesses also has soared. As a result, the government and a lot of companies have been increasing their fund on this field. For instance, hosting Olympic leads to the improvement of a national economic growth because of raising the number of tourists and the sales of products related sports. Thus, lots of states make huge effort to be chosen as a host country.
On top of that, I personally think that it is a useful phenomenon because sports make it possible to integrate people together regardless of nations and languages. Most people solely believe that it brings about lots of financial benefits to the country. However, it is also a big occasion giving much happiness to the public. Therefore, the government should more invest budget in the sports industry. Take the example of Korea in 2002 World Cup. We could make it possible to promote Korean culture to the people all over the world as well as the different number of sports companies make a lot of money at that time.
In conclusion, the growing amount of money spending on sports business is a positive effect of advancing the national economy, and also it makes people delightful and combines regardless of places and languages. Thus, the governments should more invest money in the sports fields. |
