Your Answer ▼ Some students who have chosen to be a cook or a baker might think that regular subjects don’t matter to their future life. However, I disagree with the idea with two reasons.
First of all, even if they become a cook or a baker, they will meet all the different types of people as their boss or customers. To deal with them, the knowledge about cooking or baking wouldn’t be very helpful. They might have various cultural, social, and even religious backgrounds. So, if the students want to keep good relationship with people in the future, it is better to learn various subjects so that they can be a pleasable talker for the future acquaintances. Also, in daily life as well, we would encounter with many events where we have to activate our knowledge not about cooking or baking. 이 상황에서 general subject를 배워둬야 도움이 된다는 점을 연결해서 설명해주세요.
On top of that, their early decision can be changed. Students have a limited experience, and it can make the students decide something within a limited range of thought. So, it is really important to offer them a lot of learning chances. In many cases, people choose different job from what they thought to be in the past as they grow up and experience other things. For me, I had a strong belief that I would become a TV program producer when I was a middle school student, and I kept chasing that dream and worked as a broadcasting member in school. However, when I volunteered as an English teacher for young children right after graduating from middle school, it teaching English became my future dream. Likewise, a certain event can change one’s thought and life in a different way.
To sum up, young students can have a benefit with regular subjects in life and they should have a chance to be sure about their future career. Thus, I’m sure that all students should learn regular subjects as well as vocational subjects. |
