Your Answer ▼ It seems that there are different perspectives on when children should start to receive an education. While some argue that it is better for children to be involved in school from age of four, others recommend them to begin around seven. This essay will explore both views with my thoughts.
On the one hand, there are some people saying an early education exerts positive effects on not only educational improvements but also personal development. According to them, it would make it easy for youngster to learn how to socialize and communicate with others, obtaining vital social skills and getting along with others. Further, as their personalities and personal developments are not set up, being exposed in school where trained teachers and guaranteed learning environment are is the best option for youngsters. Additionally, with the growing number of double-income families, numerous children are being isolated from their parents and friends, staying at home.
On the other hand, other people claim that students should be mature enough to get an education. Being taught without understanding of education and desires to learn, the immature pupils would be put under much stress, being sick of learning. From my own experience, I have lost my interests in field of art since I had involved in art competition when I was only 6, which made me never tried any kind of art again. Hence, I agree with this view, thinking forcing young generations to participate in school from early stages could generate negative side effects. In conclusion, it seems both reasonable perspectives on this issue are given. However, the latter view is more convincing to me: as immatureness could cause problems in early education, children should be mature enough to start get disciplines. |
