They believe that CCTVs would be easy to misuse, observing an innocent citizens and recording everything. In fact, when people realize the existence of CCTVs, they feel that they keep being monitored and limit their behavior resulting in feeling uncomfortable. Therefore, it is apparent that governments need to consider many factors before it installed on the street. However, some people assert that the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages. This is because CCTVs are used in many communities a method of crime prevention. Clearly, the cameras have been effective at reducing crimes since it has monitored everywhere for 24 hours. In addition, CCTVs are used for important proof in the court to prove a crime and help to chase criminals by finding the direction of running away. This makes easier to resolve crimes, eventually, it leads to a safety social environment. Thus, it is clear that CCTVs give our society much more benefits. To sum up, while there are some disadvantages to the security cameras have intrusion of personal life, it is evident that the advantages of keeping society on safe outweigh them. |
