Some people argue that governments can
solve traffic jam and air prolusion as they impose by imposing huge tax on with petrol. I
extremely believe that this situation has a negative impact on problems.(what problem?? needs detail)
Raising the petrol’ price is not the best way
to solve heavy traffic and pollution problems. Some people who are taxi drivers
or delivers have to use vehicles so they do not care about price of petrol.(vehicle을 사용하는 사람일수록 가격에 더 많이 신경쓰지 않나요??) Others,
who are not drivers but use vehicles because it is convenient and comfortable
to their commute, may reduce their other budgets such as food or culture
budgets instead of reducing to use their vehicles.(무슨 의미인가요?해석 불가)
However, people have other options to
relieve traffic and environment problems. Governments have to make and upgrade
the public transportation facilities. If the public infrastructures are strengthened,
more and more people use frequently the public transport than ever before. will use public transportation more frequently. For
example, a number of cities in near Seoul cannot directly go to Seoul using
buses(?????) so people have to use more than two times buses and underground. For instance, people who live far from their workplace, they choose to use private vehicle instead of public transportation, considering cost and time efficiency. It lead
to use privacy vehicles rather than use the public transport systems. Also, people
can easily reduce traffic and pollution problems to use up to date technology. This
can spread traffic congestion through using traffic systems and navigations
because specific time and places are usually traffic jams so people can avoid
this time and streets. Thanks to cutting-edge technology which can tell people the specific time and place where congestion is frequently seen, people can avoid traffic congestion, Also, people can increase air quality to upgrade their vehicles.
If people use eco-friendly vehicles like electronic cars, cities may solve our
air pollution problems.
For the reasons mentioned above, I totally disagree with the idea of raising the increase of petrol price because cities can have better other options such
as upgrading transport infrastructure and using high technologies.
