Your Answer ▼With affluent life style due to
unprecedented developments in society, people seem to have been affected enormously
by TV and mass media, and extraordinary life style of those celebrities attracts
more attentions of public. In this essay I would over look the advantages and
drawbacks of being a famous person.
When it comes to the benefits of being
celebrities we cannot mention about the financial wealth of those people. Once
they become popular they would make a lot of money by being on TV,
advertisements, and stages. Consequently they could buy or collect almost
anything including cars, jewellery, and houses, unless they want to buy a
castle. Moreover, a part from being rich they may indulge other privileges in
various services as people recognise them then try to have a good relationship
to promote their business or personal reputation.
On the another hand, in spite of all these
attracting features there are some demerits of being well known people.
Firstly, they may lose or have less privacy. As fans all over the places want
to know what and how they eat, behave, and talk they would feel somewhat
observed wherever they go and do. These phenomenon, unfortunately, is not
limited to themselves but sometimes happens over their family, especially their
most vulnerable and precious one, children. On top of that, their actions and
speaks could also be taken inappropriately or simply exaggerated on the purpose
of harming their reputations.
In conclusion, the life of celebrities
shown on TV and media seems very charming to the public who would hardly live
ordinary daily life. Nevertheless, all these merits seems too unrealistic to be
true and more importantly, the drawbacks seems to outweigh the benefits of
being a celebrity. |
