It
is true that all of the world's languages can be translated by computers.
Although computerized translation system gives economic benefits to companies
which are used use various languages, I disagree this essay with the statement, because of the benefits
of learning second languages and being translated by people.
To begin with, some people are arguing that it can help trade
companies reduce the economic pressures related to the employment. To be
specific, people who can speak second languages take a high salary, which makes
companies feel economic pressures. let companies to have economic burdens. Therefore, if the companies use the
translation programs instead of hiring people, a company they can settle the
financial problems of the employment. However, despite the economic benefits, I agree believe that children should be taught learn the second languages.
Firstly, learning foreign languages can help children accept foreign
culture. The reason is that it can make possible for children to understand the
countries' custom and people who live in. For instance, as you hang out with
foreigner friends, which it makes you can more helps you to easily understand their words and
know well what lifestyle and interests they have. Additionally, translated
sentences by computers may cause several difficulties at the communications
with the foreigners. This is because translated sentences may have several
possibilities of the language translation errors. To specify this, computers only use the
grammatical systems and do not fully understand speaker's emotions. As a
result, people may find it difficult to communicate with foreigners and it can make a few misunderstandings.
In
conclusion, I personally disagree with the idea that children are not taught
the second languages because of the computers. This is because learning foreign
languages contribute to the understanding foreign culture and computer
translation may cause miscommunication and misunderstanding.
