The charts compare the number of
UK graduates and undergraduates who did not have full-time job after graduation
in 2008.
As clearly can be seen from the
charts, furhter study was the greatest number of UK graduates' destination,
with the figures at around 30,000. While 3,500 graduates students choose
voluntary work, the smallest number of student in the chart. Remained two other
destinations accounted for similar level, 17,735 for part-time work and 16,235
for unemployment respectively.
On the other hand, part-time work
and further study accounted for more than 3 quarters, 2,535 part-tme work and
2,725 to further study each other.The smallest number of students chose
voluntary work, around 5% of postgraduates. Remained at unemployment was less
than a quarter.
Overall, UK unversity students
after finishing thier course minaly chose to study further, while furhter study
and part-time work were main destination of UK postgraduates. |
