It is true
that nowadays government encourage students to organise their own business in
university or college. Some people claim that this work can develop students
responsibility and independence. However, other people argue that it could be a
reckless plan and not be a right direction for everyone
On the one
hand, there are some people arguing that running organisation in a university
can improve students' responsibility and independence. This is because they
plan more detailed stages and try to get their goal, which makes them have a
responsibility more. In addition to this, since they are representatives, there
are a lot of tasks that they decide by themselves. This process makes them
independently. For example, in Korea, as the government invest much money in
funding business of young men and women, nowadays there are much more
enterprisers in our country. According to the current survey, their
responsibility and independence thinking is better than average office workers.
On the other
hand, other people say that it may not right project and could be foolhardy
plans to students. To be more precise, since those who are studying in
university or college don't have any relevant experience and are not ready to
have their own company right now, they could face failure more easily than
those who have already work experience. Also, as they need a lot of money to
operate and maintain company, which makes college students have to borrow money
from the banks. It can bring about student's severe financial problems. Take
the example of my experience, when I was a university student in 2012, I opened
my own business. However, due to lack of my business knowledge and preparation,
I experience a lot of failures and mistakes.
In
conclusion, while there are some advantages to encourage students to start
their company in university, it is evident that there are far more
disadvantages to push them who are not ready to run their business.
