Water is essential for live. However, in industrialised areas, it is not easy to obtain pure water for free. So, I would like to say about the reason why the government provide water to people and how they should do to reduce their expenses for water.
To begin with, since many countries were industrialised, environmental pollution has been worse and worse. In addition, water pollution has been issued and the wastage of water by people is also considerable. But there are numerous problems that will follow if the government stops providing it. The remarkable problem is the existence of social gap between the rich and poor. For the poor, they could not afford it as they are struggling to spend their money for living expenses, such as food, transportation, school tuition and so on.
Therefore, the government should take responsibility for providing pure water to people ,but they should try to reduce the wastage and pollution of water. First of all, environment campaigners should conduct various campaigns that teach people how to prevent from using a lot of water. Secondly, it needs to legislate strict laws that make enterprises do not dismiss pollutant into the ocean. Last, they should invest on the scientific technology related to purify water to lessen burdens for the government.
In conclusion, water is vital for sustenance. It is appropriate that the government gives people clean water, but people practice the activities to reduce the magnificent amount of water. Moreover, legislation and the investment on the technology for water pollution should be needed
