It is true that nowadays the number of people travelling abroad has been increasing exponentially as well as many historical monuments are ruined by impolite tourists, as a consequence.
The main reason of this issue is the lack of ethical and historical education all over the world. Since many individuals trip to another country without understanding differences of culture and history, most people commit a mistake. Take the example of Korea, especially in Jeju island, with the tourists from other states rising dramatically; many problems are exhibited. Some of the travellers illegally throw away trash at the historic structures or sites and others sometimes walk around half naked without even T-shirts, with the result that inhabitants and other tourists are displeased at their impolite attitude. Furthermore, lots of tourist environment is damaged.
In order to solve, or at least minimise the effect, more feasible and practical measures should be implemented by the governments over the world. Firstly, the governments should provide information leaflets of historical places with commentary in all of the different languages. While accurately informing do's and don'ts, we can make trackers have more pay attention to precious heritages. Additionally, by teaching ethical attitude and differences of culture to children in advance, young people grow up more polite and well-educated person who can better to understand a various culture and the way of other national lives. Through these implementations, we can reduce the incidence of potential damage to historical monuments for the future.
In conclusion, even though the problems of ruined precious attractions are increasing significantly, we can handle this issue through the government regulation such as providing information in different languages and teaching historical and ethical differences to children in advance.
