Your Answer ▼Studying far from home has been a common sight in our
society. But, people have different views on it. While some people say that studying
away from home can be beneficial, I personally opine that there are a lot more
drawbacks for studying from distances from home.
On the one hand, there are some clear merits on moving to
another city to study. First of all, every university has their own state,
color and character. In other words, students consider not only the distances
between the universities and home but also universities with their specific interests
and majors. 학생들이 이런 점을 고려한다는 것은 '장점'과 관련이 없습니다. Secondly, students might be freer more free compared to the time when
they are with their parents. Since there is no one to observe and control their
life, they are able to do something new that they could not try when they have
always have parents around them such as. Lastly, as they should live themselves,
they are more responsible for finances, studies and scheduling, which makes them
more mature in many ways.
Despite all the advantages above, I claim that it could
generate negative results on the students’ lives. It is true that as they are immature
ages of 20 to 23, there are many reckless things that they could do when they
are in a peer group such as smoking drugs and drinking. It has been reported
that most people encounter drugs when they enter to university especially from
their friends. It could make it more difficult for them to control themselves
when they are away from their parents. Additionally, according to a recent
research, those students are under stress since they have to pay for house
rental, food and daily necessaries.
In conclusion, it seems that there are both advantages and
disadvantages on this issue. However, I believe that it is studying away from
home that causes a lot more drawbacks than benefits. |
