A job is essential factor of living. People are trying to get a job diligently for living consumption. However from the effort and concern about a job, is unemployment a far greater health hazard than work? The answer is yes. Many people, who are unemployment, face a serious physical and mental health problem.
Most of people in the world are living in the capitalistic economic. In other words, except a billionaire, people have to earn their cost of living from work. A person has to have a distinctive capacibilitiy from other for getting a good job. A job is not only a means of the financial conditions; it is also one’s social standing. As compared with the past, in the temporary society it is a trend which young unemployed people are increasing because the world is becoming mechanization, factories do not need to take on many people. Even offices are operated automatically by computer. Therefore, many people lost jobs or is not able to seek a job. Many unemployed get stresses from finding a job. The stresses can be seen at unemployment’s a significant health hazard.
The biggest reason why unemployment is higher hazard is from negative self-esteem and has less social interaction. For example, some of unemployed are negative self-esteem and they are thought a derelict by themselves. The negative self-esteem caused unemployment made significantly more visits to the physicians and wasted more days in bed sick. Unemployed people who are less social interaction, loss desire in everything they do. In this period, if they spend time alone with in vain such as gaming, drinking, they can be a melancholiac.
Not only to an unemployed person, and also its family member can be suffered. For example, due to unemployment, the children with unemployed fathers are in danger of social-emotion problems which are abnormal behavior, reducing aspiration. It is a reason why the father might be seen tame, frustrated face from its children and also lack of communication. Furthermore, married life is affected from financial difficulties and status which mean without fixed a job, even married life is difficult to be kept.
In conclusion, it is firmly recognized that considerable number of unemployed people are in a dangerous health problem especially from low self-esteem and less social interaction. The people need to self-administer and trying to join social participation actively. Unemployed should be known well that their family members are affected by the attitude of mind of unemployment.
