Assignment :
Should universities give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities as they give to their university libraries?
Since the education was started in ancient times, no one dares to deny the values of sports or physical activities provided in educational in educational institutions. That can cleary shows th e fact that sports activities is one of the most necessary part of education and shouldt be regarded almost as equal as academic activities. Therefore, I believe that student's sports activities should be given the same amount of money as much as the university libraries are given.
While most of college student have to spend their time in library doing assignments or writing papers besides classes, few would say that being in library was one of the most enjoyable time s/he had in college rather than being in fields for their favorite sports activities. It is, most seemingly, after hours of hard studying or writing papers, they need to relax or to be refreshed in their daily routine. However, what if students are granted far less amount for sports activities than for university libraries?
Then, It is very likely their sports won't be funded enough, and this can be lead to fatal ramifications to both students and universities. First, sports activities would require greater amounts and can cause huge burden to the financial standing to university students. Also, if they're not affordable, they probably no longer be able to continue their sports activities. While it is students who will suffer first, the next would be universities. As much as universities fund sports activities,
many gain more profits from numerous sources during the season. However, if they cut spending on sports activities, students will perform poorly in their games. And that causes declines of univiersities profits during the season.
For those reasons above, universities should fund same amount to game as they fund their libraries for their students' sakes and overall benefits. |
