▶ Your Answer : Some
people may argue that parents should set rigid rule for their children’s
success. However, in my opinion, parents should not supervise their children
because these rules prevent children from thinking creatively and make them be
stressed out.
To
begin with, children cannot enhance their creativity because of rigorous rules.
These days, creativity is a very important factor for people to be successful.
Globalized economy has made us compete with people in other nations. Not only
that development of technology has made it easier for competitors find out what
we have made. Therefore, it is almost impossible to succeed without constantly
making something new because it is the only way to avoid competition. Under
strict rules, students should follow the orders and they cannot have chance to
think in unique way. This means that parents should not set regulations for
children’s future. According to research from Seoul University, students who
are free from regulations suggest much more various and imaginative solutions
to resolve problems that who are not.
On
top of that, children are stressed out, due to strict rules. In the suppressed
environments, children cannot do what they really want to do and act
independently. Because of this situation, they are depressed and lose their
confidence. Recently, renown professor named Jams Lee conducted a research.
According to result from this survey, about 69% of students with strict rule
have suffered from depression. On the contrary, students without regulations
looks their life much more positive. This result proves that my argument is
profoundly convincing.
To
sum up, setting strict rules to children have negative impacts on their
academic ability and mental health. Therefore, parents should be encouraged to
make their children free from harsh regulation for their success. |
