▶ Your Answer : There might be some people who believe that advertisements are a waste of company‘s time and money. However, I personally disagree with the above idea for two subsequent reasons. Firstly, it can make a positive image. Secondly, it can use the working hours effectively. To begin with, companies can promote excellence of their products through the advertisements. To be specific, because of the development of internet in the information age, people can access a lot of information through the social media such as facebook or twitter. Many companies can ascend their sales by using them. According to the survey done by Korea University professor Kim, he said that the more people know the brand’s name, the better the sales would be. This is due to the fact that the number of people who think that the product is outstanding would increase. This clearly shows that positive image of products can surge the sales for granted. On top of that, staffs can spend their working time effectively. Specifically, it can deliver information of their products for a short time by advertisements. What this means is that many people can buy their items concurrently. So employers can reduce their working hours. I will bring up my personal story as an example. When I had watched an advertisement of the shoes on TV before popular drama was started. At that time I needed shoes, so this advertisement motivated me to buy this shoes. As a result, the shoes had been sold out in a short time. If the companies did not advertise their product, they would have taken a lot of time to sell their products. As I mentioned above, advertisement cannot only make a positive image, but also use the employer’s working hours effectively. In this regard, I strongly believe that it is not a waste of company‘s time and money for companies to advertise their products.
