▶ Your Answer : Various opinions may exist over the argument that it is more productive to directly communicate with colleagues than using emails. As far as I am concerned, I am in complete agreement with the argument. The two ideas stated below can be valid evidence to support my view. First of all, communicating with other colleagues directly shows outstanding effectiveness in improving social skills. Communicating directly with other colleagues or friends may increase the opportunity to improve social skills and extend people's social network. Modern society admittedly require people who surpass others both in specialty and sociability. Interpersonal relationships and social skills are necessary qualifications for any successful person. Therefore, given the need for collaboration in any places today, interacting with others directly and meeting collegues frequently is more vital in building a more promising future because it provies the perfect opportunities to improve social skills and extend social networks. According to a private survey conducted by Seoul National University of Korea, most of the surveyed respondents answered that they were influenced by having a time to communicate with colleagues direclty. They also responded that if it had not been for communicating in direct with colleagues, they might not have had to enhance social skills which will be helpful for their future. Therefore, I strongly affirms that communicating in direct with colleagues helps people increase their sociabilities. On top of that, interacting with colleagues in direct is an excellent way of enhancing insights and outlooks since people can have more experience. Knowing other colleagues is possible when people interact with other colleagues such as talking their serious concerns, interests and so on. Using emails with colleagues has a limitation in that they only send emails about their simple tasks. Moreover, whenever people are busy with their works, the emails can be overlooked. While growing up, many people are immersed by tons of information and knowledge about this world through formalized education or indirect relationships. The problem that comes with this is that most of the information and knowledge is conveyed with the source's viewpoint or superficial things and they can easily become shortsighted if they do not have chances to experience or communicate directly with other colleagues. In many cases, lack of direct experience such as having a time to communicate directly is a serious concern that hinders knowing people's real conditions. According to a recent study conducted by a world top-tier university, when given choices of direclty interacting with colleagues and harnessing emails indirectly with colleagues, the majority of peole willingly chose the former option and they readily admitted that the advantages of the former option far outweigh those ot the latter one. By directly meeting with colleeagues and doing various things together, they could learn other colleagues' real condition well which they could hardly acquire in other activities. Likewise, this result indicates that my argument is cogent. Therefore, I confirmly convince that interacting direclty with other colleagues may be helpful for learning others well. Taking all of these reasons into consideration, we should agree with the idea since it is important to improve sociability and learn others well. Needless to say, there is no doubt in my opinion that communicating with other colleagues will benefit their future. |
